Itinerary
Arrive at Bagdogra Airport or NJP Railway Station and transfer to Zuluk, the starting point of the Silk Route.
En route, enjoy the scenic beauty of the region and make a stop at the Rongli Dam.
Reach Zuluk and check-in at your accommodation. Take some rest to acclimatize to the high altitude.
In the evening, explore the nearby village, interact with the locals, and experience their culture.
Enjoy dinner and overnight stay in Zuluk.
Wake up early and head to Thambi View Point to witness the mesmerizing sunrise over Mt. Kanchenjunga.
Enjoy panoramic views of the snow-clad peaks and savor a hot cup of tea/coffee.
After breakfast, embark on a day trip to visit the popular attractions along the Silk Route.
Explore Nathang Valley, known for its alpine meadows, and visit the Baba Mandir, a sacred shrine.
Also, visit the Old Baba Mandir, which is believed to possess spiritual powers.
Stop at Tukla Valley and pay homage at the Tukla War Memorial dedicated to the soldiers.
Take a break at Elephant Lake, a picturesque lake surrounded by lush greenery.
Return to Zuluk in the evening, have dinner, and spend the night.
Early morning breakfast - Drive to Siliguri, on the way to Bagdogra Airport (IXB) / New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP) - It is approximately 130 kilometers and 4 to 5 hours drive - The road will be bit busy and jam is frequent - The drive will be along the River Teesta - Stoppage at Jorethang / Chitrey or Melli for a cup of Tea is advisable - One stop at Coronation bridge if time permits - One will travel through the area of natural beauty - Rafting on the way is an optional (Most operators are not Registered with any Government wing hence try to avoid the same) - Drive to Bagdogra Airport (IXB) / New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP) /Siliguri - Guest are advised to start early and not to rush - Forwarding Journey.
